Quo’s Alan dead
STATUS Quo founding member Alan Lancaster has died aged 72, the band’s manager has confirmed.
Frontman Francis Rossi paid tribute to the “integral part of the sound and the success of Status Quo” in the 60s and 70s.

Rossi (72), said: “We were friends and colleagues for many years. Although we were estranged, I will have fond memories of our early days.”
