‘It feels like rain...’

PEOPLE who grumble how the weather gives them aches and pains might well be right. Scientists gave nearly 20,000 people pain tests and noted the weather at the time, finding the two were related.

Norwegian study author Erlend Hoftun Farbu said: “These findings suggest that weather has a causal, non- linear, dynamic effect on pain tolerance. As you get used to cold, you might be able to tolerate more cold.”
