Garda jeep horror smash
■ A GARDA and a teenage girl were rushed to hospital following a collision between a Garda patrol jeep and another vehicle in south Dublin.
■ The Garda Ombudsman has been notified of the incident, which happened in the Dun Laoghaire area in the early hours of Saturday morning.
■ The driver of a Mini Cooper car, who was a teenage female, suffered serious injuries and was transferred to St Vincent’s Hospital.
■ The garda driving the jeep was also hurt but the injuries are not life- threatening.
