Slagged by kids No joke

COMEDIAN Deirdre O’Kane has revealed her kids tell her she’s not funny.

The Big Deal judge and her husband Steve Bradley are parents to two children — Holly (16) and Dan (12).

The Co Louth native opened up about her sometimes “lippy” teenagers, saying: “Dan’s regular put down of me was ‘You’re not funny’. He’s 12. So I can’t pick up the ropes there. I have to let that one go.”

Deirdre said her children don’t pay attention to her being on TV, but her daughter Holly loved seeing her mum on Dancing With The Stars.

“Holly loved Dancing With The Stars. That was big for her because all of her class were watching it,” she told Amy Huberman on her Mamia and Me podcast.
