Should I try to be more woke

I’VE been sacked from my book club for not being PC enough.

I’m not exactly a right- wing horror show, but I can’t stand the recent move towards woke posturing and cancel culture.

Recently we enjoyed a drunken evening. It was someone’s birthday and we had a lot of wine.

Apparently I said something that wasn’t “politically correct” and got my marching orders.

They won’t tell me exactly what I said because it’s so awful. I can’t work out whether it was really offensive, or they’re too touchy.

I’m devastated.
