SEX Pistols drummer Paul Cook hopes he and the rest of the band can patch things up with

John Lydon following their bitter court battle.

Steve Jones (66) and 65-year- old Lydon went to the High Court in London to get a judge to rule on them being allowed to use the punk band’s songs in upcoming TV drama Pistol.

Cook admits it was “disappoint­ing” that the situation ended in court.

But he hopes that now the ruling has been made the trio can “draw a line under it” and have an amicable relationsh­ip going forward.

Speaking in a YouTube interview with music journalist John Robb, he said: “I sat in the court thinking, ‘What the hell are we doing here? How has it come to this?’

“Unfortunat­ely it just came to a time where we had to sort stuff out, one way or another and underline whatever was going on and move on,” he added.
