Hornets won’t sting Reds again MIKE’S TOP TIPS PREMIER LEAGUE NFL

-

AT some point last season we had a right result when tipping Watford to beat Liverpool at Vicarage Road.

The two sides meet again this lunchtime and these days the sides are in different places.

Liverpool were a tired outfit last season, in need of a break and unfortunately for them Virgil van Dijk got an extended one.

Other top players are back near their best now and they look set to challenge again.

Watford have changed managers already and look to be set for a season of struggle if they don’t get a few wins on the board in the next few weeks.

Only for the fact that a r emarkable four teams have yet to get their first win on the board, the Hornets would be in deeper trouble — they might be come this e vening if some of the others break their duck for the season.

Liverpool should be capable of taking this one with a little bit to spare. And they are in good recent form with 11 goals from their previous three away games.

I will go with Liverpool to win this one and Both Teams To Score which is available at 9-5.

It is good to have a proper amount of 3pm games back these days and some of the five on this afternoon interest me.

Leeds are not a side I’ve particularly warmed to but they are a solid unit, but like Watford and their hosts today Southampton, they could do with a few more wins.

Climbing

I just don’t see what in Southampton’s make up will get them above 15th, whereas you can see Leeds climbing up the table. An away win in this one is as big as 2-1 and that is well worth a go.

I’d love Norwich to get a win under their belt, they brighten up the Premier League and it needs teams like that to be able to bloody a few noses.

You wouldn’t exactly say that Brighton are a big club, but they are only two points off the lead and not looking overawed at this early stage of the season.
