FLATLEY CAN DANCE TO VICTORY AT BATH

-

I DO like a mile handicap at Bath, where the course configuration favours those drawn wide, as demonstrated again last week when Adrian Wintle’s Plansina took the only race on the card over that trip.

Wintle (pictured) has an excellent record at Bath, which is one of his local tracks, and a record of 15 wins from 53 runners is better than almost any other yard at the venue.

He runs FLATLEY (3.20 - Nap) in the Racing Welfare For All Of Racing’s People Handicap, and to me this 20/1 shot has been underestimated.

Flatley ran his best race to date when 2¾ lengths third behind Bashkirova in a warm Nottinghan maiden in August, and was drawn in the car park when below form on his handicap bow at Chester.

Excellent

Many will assume that he is again drawn out of things here, but his berth in 13 is the best spot on the course at a mile, and I fancy he can put that latest effort behind him with the excellent David Probert in the saddle.
