ARTIST SHARES ‘MADDIE’ IMAGE

The actor (63) accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Hutchins when a prop gun he was holding went off during filming for the Western in New Mexico.

In his first interview since her death in October, Baldwin told Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulos he dreams about the incident “constantly”, adding: “I couldn’t give a shit about my career anymore.”

Stephanopoulos then asked Baldwin “is it over?”, to which he replied:

“It could be.”

Trigger

In the exclusive ABC interview, Baldwin said he cocked the gun that killed Hutchins but “didn’t pull the trigger”.

On the day of the shooting, Baldwin told Stephanopoulos he and Hutchins met to rehearse a scene in which he was playing a character who drew his weapon.

Baldwin recalled that during the rehearsal, the film’s first assistant director, Dave Halls, handed him a revolver and told him “this is a cold gun” — an industry term for a weapon that is either

A “SUPER recogniser” has created what she claims will be the most accurate image of how missing Madeleine McCann would look now aged 18.

Simone Malik, whose previous sketches have led to the capture of an international child killer, uses her knowledge of genetics and a natural facial recognition ‘gift’ to depict criminals and victims.

She has shared an image she has drawn of Madeleine — who vanished on holiday in Portugal in 2007, aged three — in the hope someone will recognise her.

Simone (41) believes her portrait is far more accurate than previous computer generated e-fits of the missing youngster.

She said a 2020 computer-made image of Madeleine is not empty or loaded with dummy rounds.

He said Hutchins told him to hold the weapon, “which ended up being aimed right below her armpit”.

To get a particular shot, Baldwin said he needed to cock the gun but not fire it. He added: “I cock the gun. I go, ‘Can you see that? Can you see that? Can you see that?’. And then I let go of the hammer of the gun, and the gun goes off.

“I let go of the hammer of the gun, the gun goes off.” Stephanopoulos asked if Baldwin ever pulled the trigger.

“No, no, no, no, no,” Baldwin replied. “I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger at them.”

The actor was also asked if he felt any personal responsibility for Hutchins’ death. “No. no. I might have killed myself if I thought I was responsible, and I don’t say that lightly,” Baldwin insisted.

“I don’t know what happened on that set. Someone put a live bullet in a gun. I know it’s not me.”

TRAUMA: Baldwin in interview and (below) Hutchins accurate as the software “couldn’t recognise” the missing child’s true features.

The former NHS worker from Bradford, West Yorks, said she believes Madeleine would have the same nose profile as her aunt Philomena rather than her parents.

Guidance

She said: “I know as a super recogniser that is her face, that’s her nose.

“I think she’d be quite easy to find if she is alive.

“I think people just need some guidance that this may possibly be her face.’’

Simone took on the case after studying a computer-generated image of Madeleine last year produced by professors at Bradford University.
