Recently, both he and Hogan (50) have been appearing on the Amazon show Clarkson’s Farm.

The star, married twice, met the former model in 2017 and has since gushed over how “proud” he is of his partner for giving up a life of “luxury” for a rural lifestyle.

GONE are the days when I could

● camp out a music festival, drink and dance the night away, and wake up with little more than a pain in the head.

Now just two nights of camping

● with the kids leaves me nursing aches and pains in parts of the body I didn’t even know existed.

WHEN two working parents in good jobs can’t afford to pay for the basics, then you really start to get a handle on the crisis facing this country.

Just this week, parents Derek and Deirdre Kenneally, who both work in good jobs in University Hospital Waterford, saw their home gutted in a fire in Kilkenny.

Thankfully, nobody died or was seriously injured in the fire, but such is the financial strain on families now branded as naive Putin enablers.

The whole hullabaloo has forced President Michael D Higgins to come out and state his “unequivocal condemnation” for what he has described as “the illegal, immoral and unjustifiable” Russian invasion of Ukraine.

But he also called for the use of every available “chink of diplomacy” to try bring this conflict to an end. that the Kenneally’s home insurance had lapsed as they had to prioritise other bills.

It is really shocking that two working parents would be left facing such a dire situation, but it is by no means unique to them.

Yes, rising inflation has put everyone under pressure.

But large insurance and utility companies have been allowed run rampant with their profiteering in this country for far too long.
