CARLO ANCELOTTI reckons Celtic will pose Real Madrid’s toughest challenge of the season, as he named his squad for tomorrow’s Parkhead Champions League clash.

Karim Benzema will be among the travelling party despite the Los Blancos boss admitting he could rest the 34-year-old.

Ancelotti has hinted at resting veteran striker Benzema and feels he can rely on Rodrygo.

He added: “Rodrygo is a special forward as he can play in every position. He’s finished his apprentice­ship and is now a Real Madrid player.”

Benzema said: “Real Madrid might be the biggest name, but on the pitch that won’t mean anything.

“It all starts again in Glasgow against Celtic and I am sure they will be ready.

“If I score against Celtic that is for the benefit of the team, but if I find myself in a position where it benefits the team if I pass rather than shoot then that is what I will do.”SEE
