It’s understood Jodie’s guard used to work for Benedict Cumberbatch (46) who is co-starring in and producing the actress’ latest film, apocalyptic thriller The End We Start From.

A man turned up trying to give the star flowers. Then a few weeks later he was again spotted acting ‘oddly’ on the set. ★

PRINCE of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne is all sweetness and light at a record signing.

The Black Sabbath frontman grinned as fans formed a long queue to meet him at Fingerprints Music store in Long Beach, California.

There were fears for his health after he was recently snapped looking frail.

But the beaming 73-year-old rocker was back to his best as he signed copies of his 13th solo album, Patient Number 9.

A WOMAN who cried when she saw how much weight she put on during the pandemic has now lost four stone.

Mary Clarke (61) said she realises that “I had to lose it for my own wellbeing, both physically and mentally”.

“The world had stopped because of Covid and so did I.”

She added that by the time everything started to open up again, “I knew the time had come to get off my frumpy fat ass and do something.

“I had a wardrobe full of clothes and literally nothing fitted me.”

She was not prepared for discovering how much she weighed.

“As long as I live I’ll never forget it. I was fifteen stone one pound.

Panic

“I thought I was going to have a panic attack.

“I was never that weight in my life so I took the bull by the horns, gave myself a good talking to and decided there would be no more eating junk and I would start light exercise.”

The following week she had lost three pounds and now, having lost a total of four stone, she says, “I have got my mojo back.

“I now fit into some of my clothes; the rest are too big for me.”

Mary joined Slimming World in Dundalk in the Gaels GFC in May 2021 and said: “I had gone to Slimming World a few times through the years but I never stayed going until I reached my target weight, until now.”

“With Covid I was unmotivated about eating healthy foods or going out to exercise, I had lost my mojo.

“When the restrictions began to ease, I knew it was time to do something.”

Mary, who has two adult children, is encouraging anyone who wants to lose weight, for whatever reason “to take the first step”.

“The hardest part is getting on the scales for the first time.”
