GIRLS SAY NO ROWS ALOUD ON NEW TOUR
CHERYL Tweedy opened up about the ‘disagreements’ between the Girls Aloud members during their tour rehearsals.
Girls Aloud consists of Cheryl (40), Nadine Coyle (38), Nicola Roberts (38) and Kimberley Walsh (42) - while fellow original member Sarah Harding sadly died following a cancer battle in 2021 aged 39.
The group reunited and is currently rehearsing in preparation for their UK and Ireland tour in May.
They even re-released their 2004 studio album, What
Will the Neighbours
Say? Ahead of their tour, they appeared on Scott Mills’ Radio
2 show to discuss their tour, being in the industry for over two decades and more.
When asked about whether they had disagreements,
Cheryl said: “No we don’t do disagreements, we have differences in opinions.”
The women also discussed their upcoming tour and their ‘super special’ addition to their shows. Nicola explained: “This is our biggest set yet and it is very special and there’s a really super special area called the Gift Wrap Kitty Cat area where the fans are sort of inside the show almost because of how the stage is set. And it’s super special.”
Cheryl added: “It’s the first time we’ve done anything like that actually so it will be nice because we can really, whoever’s in the Gift Wrap Kitty Cat zone it’s phenomenal, we can really communicate with them, like, close,” before Kimberly continued: “They’re gonna really feel part of it aren’t they?”
During the interview, Cheryl said the group wanted to be ‘extra’ as it has been ‘so long’ since their last performances. In January, Girls Aloud delighted fans by announcing they would be rerelease What Will the Neighbours Say? album.
