The Goodison Park boss has spoken to his players who are immersed in a relegation struggle aggravated by the Premier League stripping the club of another two points in addition to the six already imposed for flouting Profit and Sustainability rules.
His message was simple: “Society now wants fault and blame for everything but we’ve got to
“I hope it’s resolved before the last game. Or it will create a big confusion on playing and decisions being made by every club.
“It can affect the integrity of the competition, no doubt about it. In terms of our approach, that won’t change.
“Since we arrived at the club, the objective has always been the same — to win games and realise we have tough opponents and how we can do things.
“But there are decisions to be made.
“The competition by itself needs some final decision because it’s a mess. And it’s a mess because it’s appeal after appeal after appeal and we don’t know exactly what is going to happen. There’s a lot of uncertainty. park it. What’s done is done. We’ve got to stay in line, stay connected. We’ve taken a few knocks but we’ve got to pull together.”

Nuno also defended skipper Ryan Yates in the wake of the incident with James Maddison last week.
The Spurs’ forward was accused of punching Forest’s midfielder in the stomach, leading pundit Roy Keane to question whether Yates went down too easily.

Clear
“I’ve come to be very clear minded on that, believe me.
“So my job is just to take it on. The bigger picture stuff is out of my hands and will be taken care of in due course.
