Ace look for Zen

ZENDAYA could have been at Wimbledon as she served up an all white outfit for the Italian premiere of Challengers, her new tennis film.

The 27-year-old was in Milan having been to watch some tennis at the Monte Carlo Open earlier in the weekend.

The iconic musician and her former beau split up after 19 years of marriage in 2019. Barrister Bonnar later stepped out with Telma Ortiz, the sister of the queen of Spain, and the couple in 2021 welcomed their first child.

But mother of two Sharon yesterday admitted she loves being single and she is one of the happiest divorced women on the planet.

Sharon said: “I have learned so much from the storm of that and I am extremely grateful. It really, really pushed lessons in front of me that if I didn’t learn I would either stay on this safe fence or I would get off and do something about it.

Music

“And I got off and I did something about it. I have taken my music career to different dimensions.”

Sharon found it hard having the details of her divorce being made public, especially because the information wasn’t coming from her.

Speaking to Miriam O’Callaghan on her RTE Radio 1 Sunday with Miriam show, the musician said: “I guess a lot of my stuff was reported on quite heavily in the newspapers via the other people involved because I never had my private life in the newspapers. It became news via the fact of who my ex had gotten involved with.”

Five years after the break up, Sharon said she relishes being free of romance. The Corrs star said: “As a woman, I love being single and I am probably one of the happiest divorced women on the planet. It is coming up on five years now and I am delighted.”

But she would never rule out getting married again. Sharon explained: “My best friend Des McMahon would say to me, ‘Sharon, never say never, don’t close the door’. I get that.

“It is such a hard journey and I say to myself, ‘Why would I ever do that to myself again’. I think if I wanted to be with somebody for the idea of what is ‘forever’ I wouldn’t get married, I would do something with friends to commit each other.

“I am starting to get the heebie jeebies and my stomach is starting to turn at the idea.”

The mother of two added: “I have changed my opinions on so many things and it is really important to be open to things. The things you should do are the things you fear.”
