FANS LEFT TORTURED BY STAR’S ‘LEAKED’ LP
TAYLOR Swift fans are in a frenzy over an alleged leak of her album The Tortured Poets Department, which is due out today.
The supposed leak, which reportedly surfaced on a Google Drive link just days before the album’s official release, has divided fans, with some eagerly listening to the snippets of tracks, while others say this is disrespectful to the superstar.
There is also debate over the authenticity of the apparent new songs, with some fans speculating they may be artificial intelligence-generated creations.
“I feel like if you choose to listen/talk about l*aks you’ve clearly never experienced the magic of a Taylor Swift album release night cuz why would you wanna deprive yourself of that,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“The album was leaked :( The Tortured Poets Department was just leaked. PLEASE DO NOT listen until the official release. Taylor worked really hard on this and it’s completely disrespectful to her, support her,” a second fan pleaded.
Another fan added: “If you are listening to The Tortured Poets Department before it officially drops, you are not a real fan. A real fan respects Taylor’s work, and this is massively disrespectful.”
Before the leak hit the headlines, Swift joined forces with Spotify to launch a library-themed installation at The Grove in Los Angeles, celebrating her eagerly awaited album.
The Cruel Summer songstress first spilled the beans about her new album during this year’s Grammy Awards in February, where she bagged the Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights.
Fans are buzzing with speculation that the album will delve into her six-year romance with actor Joe Alwyn.
