James unsure if Moyes stays
JAMES Ward-Prowse says West Ham players are “unsure” whether David Moyes will stay on as manager after their exit from Europe.
The Hammers’ 3-1 defeat on aggregate against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League quarterfinals could mark the end of an era.
West Ham have slipped out of the top seven in the Premier League, and face a difficult run-in to climb back above the dotted line if they are to clinch a fourth consecutive European campaign.
And with Moyes yet to sign a two-year contract extension in the pending tray, Ward-Prowse revealed there is uncertainty in the dressing room about the near future.
Incredible
Asked if he wanted Moyes to stay, the midfielder said: “I think he’s done an incredible job. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with him.
“We’re obviously unsure as to what’s going to happen, but we’re focusing on making sure we finish the season as strong as we can.
“We’ve done amazingly well. We want to make sure we put ourselves in a good position for next season.

NEVER LET ME GO: Cole Palmer during his City days with Pep Guardiola
PEP Guardiola has revealed how he spent two seasons pleading with Cole Palmer not to leave Manchester City.
And Guardiola knows he must now find a way to stop the England hopeful if he wants to keep alive City’s Double dream. Palmer stunned the Premier League last summer when he walked out on the Premier League champions to join Chelsea. Palmer has gone on to make a stunning impact at Stamford Bridge, scoring 22 goals in all competitions to become Mauricio Pochettino’s most influential star.
He will look to make a mockery of City’s decision to sell him when he faces his former club in today’s FA
JACK GREALISH has told the boo-boys to keep giving him abuse – because it will inspire him to finish the season with even more trophies.
England and Manchester City star Grealish has become a target of away fans wherever he goes with the champions.
The likeable Grealish has admitted in the past he just can’t understand why people dislike him so much.
But he insists the attention doesn’t bother him one bit, as he aims to have the last laugh by helping Pep Guardiola’s men win a Premier League and FA Cup Double, to follow the historic Treble of last season.
Over
“Getting booed doesn’t bother me one bit. I like it,” said Grealish. “I feel good, I feel fit and I feel like I’m playing with good confidence.
“Hopefully I can bring that into the end of the season. We’ve still got a lot to play for, a lot of games.
“There’s a Premier League and an FA Cup to play for, so the season is nowhere near over yet. I still feel like
I’ve got a big part to play.
“Last year, obviously we won the
Treble, then the
Cup semi-final showdown at Wembley.
And Guardiola admits he did everything in his power to persuade Palmer to remain at the Etihad.
“He’s an exceptional player. We knew this when he was here,” said Guardiola. “He’s a nice guy, a shy guy, with a lot of confidence, and he’s playing fantastically well.
Decisive
“But he was asking for two seasons to leave. I said ‘no, stay’. But he still said ‘no, I want to leave’. What can I say?
“Cole is the decisive player of the season. Playing that level is exceptional. But we travel to Wembley looking to win this game, and see what happens.”
