SINGER Celine Dion is determined to do her best to return to her world tour after being diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, though she remains unsure if she ever will be able to.
At a fashion shoot for Vogue France magazine, she vowed: “There’s one thing that will never stop, and that’s the will”.
The Canadian singer (56) cancelled her Las Vegas residency in 2021, before revealing her diagnosis in December 2022 and cancelling her Courage World Tour.
She said she will work with her “body and soul, from head to toe” with her medical team, who she described as a “gift”.
IRISH reality show star Virginia Macari has married businessman Peter Smurfit.
The couple, who got engaged in July 2023, appeared to tie the knot in a low-key wedding overseas.
Sharing the first picture as a married woman, Virginia simply said: “Mr and Mrs Smurfit.”
She posted the snap on Instagram showing both wearing matching hats as they both smiled for the camera.
Virginia, who rose to fame on TV3’s Dublin Wives, said she was “the luckiest girl in the world” after Peter popped the question in a summer engagement back in July.
After he got down on bended knee, she said: “I said yes to forever. I love you so much Peter, my handsome Fiancee.

Virginia hinted that their wedding day was fast approaching after Peter celebrated his birthday in style just nine days ago. She paid tribute to him in a gushing onpost. line She revealed: “To the one who stole my heart and makes everyday special, @petersmurfit I just love this photo I took of you! “Happy Birthday handsome Peter. I look forward to having a lifetime of adventures with you.”
Peter is the son of Alan Smurfit, part of the mega-rich Smurfit-Kappa paper dynasty.
The couple are said to have met in Monaco. Since confirming their relationship, the pair have embarked on a number of lavish trips around the world. Virginia has been showcasing their whirlwind romance in a series of pictures on Instagram. She was previously in a longterm relationship with businessman Kaste Dahl and the former couple share a son called Thor.
At the time, Virginia opened up about their break-up to the Sunday World. She told them: “Obviously he’s the father of my child and I respect him, but we’re not together – and will never be ever again, either.”
