A RANDY prisoner was caught with his pants down trying to have sex with his girlfriend behind bars in Mountjoy Prison.
The criminal, aged in his 20s, managed to get a small booth on his own with his romantic visitor that would normally be used by life prisoners to give them a bit of privacy with their families.
Sometimes there would be a prison warder in the room — but there wasn’t on this occasion.
But the prisoner used the opportunity for a jailhouse romp with his lover on the couch.

Owner Tom Brosnan was middle of their steamy session. Furious staff then stormed into the room, ordered them to stop and fix their clothes. The woman was told to end her visit and go home.
The inmate, who has more than 100 previous convictions, was then subjected to a full P19 disciplinary hearing before prison bosses for his raunchy behaviour.
He lost some of his privileges as punishment for breaching the prison rules and was moved from what is known as the progressive wing of Mountjoy for well-behaved prisoners back into the mainstream jail, and had his recreational time reduced.
Stupid
Changes have now been made to the private booths since the incident so prison warders can better observe anyone inside.
A source said: “This fella is near the end of his sentence and did a very stupid thing.
“The couple seized the moment to use the booth that they had to themselves to have a romp.
“They had some of their clothes off and were in the early stages of a sexual encounter.
“I wouldn’t say they had full intercourse but they were fairly close.
“The party was spoiled when they were spotted on the security cameras.
“Under Irish law prisoners are not allowed to have sex with their partners while they are in jail.
“Some countries like Sweden do allow conjugal visits but we don’t.
“Perhaps this is something that should be looked at — it would reduce tension in prisons.”
Prisoners can apply for conjugal visits to have sex with their lover while in custody in ten EU states including Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Spain, while Australia, Canada, India and Brazil also allow them.
A spokesperson for the Irish Prison Service said they can not comment on individual prisoners.
