Si: Ireland AM nearly killed me...
SIMON Delaney has claimed working on Ireland AM “nearly killed him”.
The actor joined the Virgin Media breakfast show in 2015, presenting the Saturday instalment of the programme, then known as Saturday AM, alongside Anna Daly.
He only planned to work there for a year, but by the time he left six years later he was co-hosting on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Simon said he has no regrets over leaving in 2022, and added: “At one point doing Ireland AM, I was filming a documentary series and I was doing The Snapper on stage as well so I was working seven days a week for seven months and it nearly killed me.”
