Ex-lover to wed my dad

-

MY dad stole my girlfriend from me.

Now they’re sleeping together and talking about getting married.

I’m facing the prospect of having a 28-year-old stepmum whom I used to bonk. Gross.

I’ve warned him that she’s a gold digger, but he won’t hear a word said against her.

My real mum thinks the whole situation is hilarious. She’s treating it like a soap opera, but this is my life and I’m flipping out. What can I do?

JANE SAYS: You can hardly forbid your dad from marrying the woman he loves.

Clearly, you’ve attempted to offer your opinion but if he’s not interested, then back off.

Resist the urge to drip feed your mum details regarding their relationship and concentrate on doing your own thing.

You’re young, the world is at your feet and your dad can find out for himself what your ex is like.

Who knows, maybe they’re ideally suited and made for each other?

Stop looking back and start moving forward or you’ll tie yourself up in emotional knots. How much time do you plan to spend in your dad’s company anyway?

MY mates were so badly behaved during a weekend away that I don’t know if I can speak to them again.

I booked a country house to celebrate a promotion and my 35th birthday. I ordered luxury food and decent booze but the dirty dozen were a nightmare.

From getting drunk and taking drugs to breaking the furniture, it was like herding tigers. Two couples swapped partners, had noisy sex and then a massive argument.

Two single girls brought back strangers for an orgy – and my own boyfriend slept with both my best mate and cousin.

It was carnage. Everyone’s still buzzing about an amazing weekend but I’ve been left with a massive bill and no respect for anyone. How dare they?

JANE SAYS: How disappointing. You tried to organise a celebration, yet your ungrateful friends threw your efforts back in your face.

Sadly, if they’re too immature to know how to behave, if they couldn’t show you a single ounce of respect, then I suggest you dump the lot of them.

Was it them playing up because the booze was free? Or they were jealous of you? Do they even realise that you’ve got a hefty bill?

Stop being nice. It’s time to name and shame and ask the main offenders for contributions.
