Kelleher takes up marketing role with Kinsale Chamber
Journalist Helen Kelleher has been appointed as the new part-time marketing consultant at Kinsale Chamber of Tourism and Business.
Ms Kelleher, a native of Macroom, has worked as a communications specialist across many forms of media for over 20 years, including the and RTÉ’s
She also worked for a number of years with Bill O’Herlihy Communications, McConnells Advertising, and JWT Communications developing, implementing, and managing delivery of comprehensive communications, marketing, and public relations strategies.
She also worked for The Mary Robinson Foundation on Climate Change.
Last year, she returned to Cork and is now living and working in Kinsale with clients such as Tyrone Productions and the Kinsale Shark Awards, as well as freelancing.
She was also the assistant producer on two critically acclaimed health documentaries on RTÉ One — and — presented by Dr Eva Orsmond.
Chamber chairman Ciarán Fitzgerald said Helen’s excellent contacts in media both in Cork and in Dublin and experience in working with a variety of businesses from both a PR and a media perspective will be a great asset to the town
Ms Kelleher, who will be welcomed to the Chamber at its AGM tomorrow, replaced Jackie Dawson who has assumed a full-time post in Cork.
Mr Fitzgerald thanked Ms Dawson for her marketing and PR work over the past five years with the Chamber.
