Mal­low Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal scores high

Mal­low Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal recorded one of the high­est pa­tient ex­pe­ri­ence scores in the 2018 Na­tional Pa­tient Ex­pe­ri­ence Sur­vey. A to­tal of 39 hospi­tals around Ire­land were sur­veyed; Mal­low scored 9.1 out of 10, be­hind only En­nis Hos­pi­tal in Clare and the South In­fir­mary in Cork. North Cork Fine Gael Coun­cil­lor John Paul O’Shea said the re­sults of the sur­vey high­light the high es­teem Mal­low Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal is held in and he praised the hos­pi­tal staff. Na­tion­ally, more than 13,404 peo­ple com­pleted the sur­vey. 82 pa­tients from Mal­low Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal took part in the sur­vey. Ac­cord­ing to one pa­tient’s re­view of Mal­low Hos­pi­tal: “The at­mos­phere in the hos­pi­tal was very con­ducive to pa­tients re­turn­ing to health. I couldn’t praise hos­pi­tal and its en­tire staff enough.”
