New KT dead­line

The dead­line for sub­mis­sion of data for Farm Im­prove­ment Plans in Knowl­edge Trans­ferggroups has been ex­tended to Au­gust 14. The July 31 dead­line for hold­ing meet­ings of KT Groups re­mains. Agri­cul­ture Min­is­ter Michael Creed said the ex­ten­sion arose, in par­tic­u­lar, on foot of con­cerns about the amount of re­sources be­ing ded­i­cated by ad­vi­sory ser­vices to as­sist­ing farm­ers in deal­ing with the weather con­di­tions.

He urged all KT par­tic­i­pants to sub­mit Farm Im­prove­ment Plan data as soon as pos­si­ble. Pro­cess­ing will be­gin on cases sub­mit­ted by the orig­i­nal July 31 dead­line, to min­imise pay­ment de­lays.
