IF it seems like he has been around for­ever, well he has! So it’s no sur­prise that Cliff Richard is cel­e­brat­ing with a 60th an­niver­sary tour which will be shown live in cin­e­mas on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 12, at 8pm. Bring­ing his live show direct to cin­e­mas is a first for the British pop star, who will be per­form­ing from Manch­ester Bridge­wa­ter Hall in the UK. En­core screen­ings will run on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 14, in cel­e­bra­tion of his 78th birth­day. The only British pop artist to have num­ber one hits in ev­ery decade from the 1950s to the end of the 20th cen­tury, Cliff Richard is a mu­si­cal icon, with a stag­ger­ing 103 al­bum re­leases and a record­break­ing 123 sin­gle hits, clocked up. The show, which is dis­trib­uted by Cine­maLive, will broad­cast direct via satel­lite.
