The National 50 Plus Expo starts next on October 19 at the RDS, in Dublin for the weekend. Over 200 exhibitors will be featuring at the event, which runs also from 11am 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday, in the main and industries’ halls. Geared specifically to those of us who have hit the half century mark and upwards, there will be plenty of expert advice given on themes such as health, including blood pressure checks with the Irish Heart Foundation; how to spend your free time; tips on fashion, arts and crafts and finance. Cooking demos are promised to be staged all around the clock, with live music also. You can even trace your family history, as there will be several genealogy and family/ social history experts on duty.
