Ac­cord­ing to Ir­ish Can­cer So­ci­ety, about 45 chil­dren a year are di­ag­nosed with brain tu­mour.

There are many dif­fer­ent types of brain tu­mours and each child is dif­fer­ent. Signs/symp­toms de­pend on area of brain af­fected by tu­mour.

First signs of a brain tu­mour can vary. Chil­dren can have symp­toms in­clud­ing headache, vom­it­ing and drowsi­nessl.

Treat­ment for brain tu­mours also varies – it may in­clude surgery.
