SEA­SON­AL­ITY is a buzz­word in food but very of­ten it’s about lip ser­vice, says founder of Grow it Your­self (GIY) Michael Kelly. In an at­tempt to change that, Grow HQ has launched ‘Home­grown’, a se­ries that in­vites chefs to for­age and har­vest and then use the pro­duce to pre­pare a sea­sonal feast for 55 peo­ple. Next month, on Novem­ber 13, Wade Mur­phy from the award­win­ning 1826 Adare in Lim­er­ick will take over at Grow HQ.
