Mckenna may be in All-ireland final frame

Speculation that Conor Mckenna may line out for Tyrone in Sunday’s All-ireland final hasn’t gone away, as official team kit sporting the initials “CMCK” has been spotted ahead of the game.

Mckenna, whose team Essendon completed their AFL season last Friday, having just missed out on the finals, is understood to be back in the country, though Tyrone have not confirmed whether he is part of Mickey Harte’s plans for the clash with Dublin.

The exciting 22-year-old was expected to star in Ireland’s International Rules series against Australia last year, only to break down with an injury in training. He has experienced a chequered 2018, impressing at times, but also picking up a three-week ban for biting an opponent.
