Cork IFC fi­nal Cill na Mar­tra turn­ing on the power. They upped gears in the ten min­utes be­fore half-time and the 15 min­utes af­ter the restart. A suc­ces­sion of 11 unan­swered points and the goal from Shane Ó Duin­nín proved key to vic­tory. Cill na Mar­tra can fi­nally put all those de­feats be­hind them They have gen­er­ated be­lief and mo­men­tum and know now they can win. Aghab­ul­logue met a team that hit their stride full on. Matthew Bradley was a huge loss for the losers - the Cork U20 player was un­able to start due to in­jury. Shane Ó Duin­nín was a worry com­ing into the game with an an­kle in­jury and his train­ing was re­stricted. The rest didn’t do him any harm — he fin­ished with 2-1. Daire Ma­clochlainn was the man se­lected to mark John Cork­ery. It was a tough as­sign­ment, but the lively de­fender did well.
