Pep sees room for improvement in Raheem’s sterling display

Irish Examiner - Sport - - SOCCER -

Lost in all the impressive attacking performances being compiled by Manchester City is the fact that their defence is also operating at a level rarely before seen in Premier League history. Southampton might have become the first English team since the first day of September to score against the Blues in any competition - but it means City have still only conceded four times in their opening 11 league games. It leaves the Blues on target to beat the current best ever defensive season in Premier League history, the 15 goals conceded by Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea in 2004-05.
