Charleville so

AIB Mudster Club IHC fidal Feakle will be disgusted with letting slip a 10-point interval lead. Where they were so economical in attack in the opening half, they wasted a number of half chances in the second period. The Charleville management were correct not to wait until halftime to introduce either Darren Casey or captain Danny O’flynn. Charleville endured a tortuous opening 20 minutes and change was urgently required. Both Casey and O’flynn were sprung four minutes before the break. Casey had a point with his first involvement, going on to deliver the game-winning goal deep in second-half stoppages. O’flynn was superb in the second-half, getting onto a significant amount of breaking ball around the middle. Midfielder Shane Mcgrath and half-forward Oisin Donnellan were outstanding for Feakle in the opening half. The latter continued to cause trouble upon the resumption, although nowhere near the same extent as he had done in the first-half. Despite a few poor wides, Darragh Fitzgibbon delivered a colossal second-half display.
