Co-op Su­per­stores Mun­ster Hurl­ing League Michael Moyni­han Clare had the bet­ter of this one, with Tipperary’s Liam Sheedy ac­knowl­edg­ing in par­tic­u­lar their use of Tony Kelly as a float­ing at­tacker who caused Tipp prob­lems, par­tic­u­larly in the sec­ond half. Sea­mus Kennedy left the Tipp team limp­ing yes­ter­day, while Clare’s Donal Moloney ac­knowl­edged he and Gerry O’con­nor are await­ing a few play­ers who have had op­er­a­tions this win­ter. Clare had the pick of the per­form­ers, and David Mcin­er­ney and Conor Cleary shored up the de­fence im­pres­sively. How­ever, Tony Kelly ended the game with 2-3 from play, in­clud­ing the cru­cial goal, so he gets the nod on this oc­ca­sion.
