The Diploma in Food Sci­ence and Tech­nol­ogy will commence in UCC on Oc­to­ber 6th, 2017

It is a two-year part-time course that is run over 11 Fri­day/Satur­day ses­sions from Oc­to­ber to May each year.

The sched­ul­ing of the ses­sions at week­ends al­lows for in­dus­try par­tic­i­pants from around the coun­try to at­tend with­out im­pact­ing too heav­ily on work com­mit­ments.

Each ses­sion is held in UCC on Fri­day from 14.00 - 20.00 and from 9.00 - 16.00 on Satur­day.

The Diploma course gives par­tic­i­pants an op­por­tu­nity to gain an un­der­stand­ing and knowl­edge of food sci­ence, and mi­cro­bi­ol­ogy, food pro­cess­ing tech­nol­ogy, nu­tri­tion and food busi­ness and fa­cil­i­tates ca­reer de­vel­op­ment.
