Teacher killed by jeep to be buried

A Co Done­gal town will be united in grief to­day as it buries a young woman killed in tragic cir­cum­stances. Dun­gloe will come to a stand­still for the fu­neral of teacher and mother of two Dawn Croke who died when she was struck by a jeep in the grounds of St Crona’s NS in Dun­gloe last Thurs­day at around 6.30pm. She was killed in­stantly and the six year-old daugh­ter of Ms Croke’s part­ner Patrick McHugh was in­jured by the ru­n­away jeep. Gar­daí are still in­ves­ti­gat­ing what ex­actly caused the Ford Ranger ve­hi­cle to move for­ward and cause the tragedy.
