Pen­sion re­vamp in spot­light

AC­COUN­TANTS have a pow­er­ful role to play in prompt­ing the planned au­toen­rol­ment pen­sion scheme, a con­fer­ence was told.

The Char­tered Ac­coun­tants Ire­land con­fer­ence, chaired by Dr Brian Kee­gan, the or­gan­i­sa­tion’s di­rec­tor of tax pol­icy, was told of the suc­cess of a sim­i­lar pen­sion scheme for low and mid­dle earn­ers in the UK.
