Ding in Spanish partnership
MARK Roden’s Ding is to partner with Logista, a distributor of products and services to retailers in Southern Europe.
Ding will provide international top-up services in over 10,000 shops serviced by Logista in cities across Spain.
The deal will enable a wide range of diaspora living in Spain to send international mobile top-up to the phones of family and friends back home in countries including Bolivia, Senegal, Mali, Gambia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Romania,
Morocco, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Ghana.
Declan Burke, head of business development Europe and Africa at Ding, said it further strengthens Ding’s offering of international mobile top-up in Europe.
“Our business is in a major phase of growth and partnering with companies such as Logista – with such a well-established network – is helping us to really push our business forward and better serve our users,” he added.
Launched in 2006, Ding has deals with 500 different mobile phone operators in over 140 countries around the world.
Meanwhile, Logista currently manages over 38 million top-ups every year for the telephony and public transportation industries, among others.
