Designer Paul Costelloe was in full artistic mode when he was guest designer at the Irish Fashion Collective 2018 Show at the Conrad Hotel last Friday night. His couture pieces provided a wow finale to the show styled by Catherine Condell, and proceeds went to Saint Joseph’s Shankill, the only care home in Ireland that solely cares for people living with dementia. Before the show, Paul very generously offered to bring along his easel and do portraits of guests. During the interval, Paul’s petite wife, (3) Anne, helped out, dashing around and organising everything so the artist could concentrate on his sitters. Paul’s offer to do portraits for €100 each added to the coffers of the event which raised over €40k. Well done to designer Deborah Veale who started the initiative.

Anyone for gingerbread ham this festive season?! Amongst those that were getting into the festive mood were (1) RTÉ’s weather expert, Nuala Carey ( left), and Síle Seoige who is Aldi’s Mamia ambassador. Síle’s son, Cathal, turned one in August.
Four months after celebrating the birth of daughter, Esme, with her husband Paul Galvin, (2) Louise Duffy provided the soundtrack for the exclusive Jimmy Choo cocktail party to showcase the SS19 collection to customers in Brown Thomas.

Cliff Town House Bar. Nice to see that Taken Down star Lynn Rafferty liked the leopard trouser suit — from the Beautiful South boutique in Rathmines — that Roxanne Parker styled her in for last week’s cover so much that she looked fab wearing it that night on The Ray D’Arcy Show on
