CLASSIC ALBUM REVISITED
Forget U2. In the 1980s, it was Moving Hearts who were showing just how versatile Irish music could be thanks to their fusion of trad with jazz and contemporary sounds. This wholly instrumental album was a thrilling distillation of the gifts of Dónal Lunny, uileann pipe player Davy Spillane and sax and clarinet maestro Keith Donald among others. The title track and ‘The Lark’ are masterful.
