Subtitled ‘How Successful People Start Every Day Inspired’, this relentlessly upbeat book from Benjamin Spall and Michael Xander aims to encourage early starts, healthy breakfasts and the sort of workouts to turn you into the next Sheryl Sandberg.

There are short interviews with ultra successful people, including Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington who, on waking, takes “a minute to breathe deeply, be grateful and set my intention for the day”.

Ed Catmull, president of Pixar, starts his day with a cup of coffee made of triple espresso, three tablespoons of cocoa powder and two sweeteners. “I’ve heard this makes you think better,” he says. “I have no idea if this is true but it tastes good.”
