Move Through the Dawn (Ignition) INDIE

Irish Independent - Weekend Review - - & -

Their output may have varied in quality, but the English band continue to fascinate and this impressive album skips from one genre to the next without compromising their inimitable spirit. There’s psychedelia and 1960s balladry and James Skelly’s pop instincts are evident everywhere, not least on the giddy ‘Reaching Out for a Friend’. And there aren’t many UK contemporaries releasing songs as fine as ‘Eyes like Pearls’ — the wonderful opening track.
