Origin Green growth

Last year, 98 Irish companies became fully verified members of Origin Green, Bord Bia’s sustainability programme, more than doubling the performance of any other year.

This brings the total number of fully verified Origin Green members to 220. A further 310 companies are currently preparing, or have submitted plans for verification.

“All of the small food companies that will be exhibiting at Bloom next June are on the Origin Green journey. It is a win-win for companies as they know they are doing the right thing but also it makes sense commercially,” says McCarthy.
