Pay talks ‘complex’

THE chair of talks on a new public sector pay deal has warned that they will be “incredibly complex”.

Director general of the Workplace Relations Commission Oonagh Buckley told a civil service conference that although this would not be a pay cut agreement, negotiating a reversal of those cuts may be even harder as expectations had built up among workers.
