DO THE DOUBLE

-

SOCCER

David Moyes (pictured) saw his Sunderland side relegated last weekend following defeat to Bournemouth and have very little to play for other than pride as they make the trip to Hull this afternoon. Hull are still fighting to avoid relegation and with Sunderland in such a sorry state, it’s hard to see anything other than a home win, albeit it at the very short price of 4/9.

RACING

Priced around 11/8 in the early markets for trainer John Gosden, Khalidi is tipped to land the Listed Havana Gold Newmarket Stakes (4.45). He stayed on well to win a Listed race here last time over 1m1f so the step up to 1m2f shouldn’t be a problem and he has a Group entry for later on this season. The main danger to the bet is Permian, which hit 1/4 in-running last time before being chinned by Frankel colt Cracksman.
