Textile design students show they’re no dummies

-

BROWN Thomas has teamed up with the National College of Art and Design to launch ‘The Textile Project’ – an instore exhibition featuring the work of the college’s second-year textile and surface design students. Twenty students were tasked to follow a brief from Brown Thomas to create beautiful, colourful printed fabrics that have been crafted into mannequins now displayed throughout the Dublin store.

Students Cillian Morrison, Lelde Lasmane Slisane, Nicola Hutchinson and Tara Costello are pictured above with some of their patterns. Two of them have been used to create a limited edition silk scarf and candle wrap.
