SKODA Ireland yesterday announced their three-part nationwide cycling initiative, the ‘SKODA Celtic Cycle Series’, which starts off with the Tour de Conamara in Co Galway on May 27.

Over 2,500 cyclists are expected out West for the biggest of the three events. The Ring of Clare takes place on July 29 with 1,000 cyclists expected in Ennis before the Tour de Boyne Valley on September 10.

The Celtic Cycle Series has been developed for all ages and abilities with both a short- and long-distance option available at all three events ranging from 70km to 160km .
