Opportunity to live inlapofthegod

Odin’s Way, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16

-

ODIN’S WAY, a scheme of four-bed family homes, is set on a three-acre site just off Taylor’s Lane in Rathfarnham, near Grange Golf Club.

Odin’s Way, which was initially launched in February and will have 30 homes when it’s eventually finished, was designed by Rowe McGill Architects and is being developed by Rosemount Properties.

A second phase, made up of seven houses, is being released this weekend. All are four-bed semi-detached properties with 1,679 sq ft of accommodation spread out across three floors, with a master ensuite and walkin wardrobes in a walnut-veneer finish located on the second floor. Prices start at €610,000.

The front elevation of the block-built homes is finished in a combination of brick and render, with bay windows to the ground and first floors and a canopy over a black front door. The properties in the latest tranche have a west-facing rear garden and patio, so would-be residents can enjoy the sun during summer evenings. To the front is a cobble-lock driveway, flanked by landscaped shrubbery, that can accommodate two cars.

Inside, the A3-rated houses have painted shaker-style kitchens supplied by Brendan Gallagher. The kitchen units are in a classic solid ash and feature a Silestone Blanco maple quartz worktop, upstand and island unit. The kitchen/diner benefits from extra sunlight from two skylights, while under-counter lights to the kitchen units provide ambient lighting. The ensuite bathrooms have walk-in showers, while the bedrooms on the first floor are fitted with contemporary wardrobes.

Odin’s Way is close to St Enda’s Park — once home to Padraig Pearse’s school — and the 247-acre Marlay Park. The M50 is a few minutes’ drive away, at Junction 12, while the centre of Dublin is 25 minutes away.

Viewings of the new showhouse at Odin’s Way, fitted out by Elk House Interiors, will be held tomorrow and Sunday, between 2pm and 4pm. Enquiries to: DNG New Homes (01) 4912600.
