REIGNING champions Cork Con can go top of the Ulster Bank League Division 1A this weekend when they clash with league leaders UCD at Temple Hill tomorrow.

Con were beaten 39-35 in a ten-try thriller at Lakelands Park last weekend and they will hope to get back on track having got the better of Clontarf in Round 1.

Con are one point and one place above Garryowen in mid-table, and the Limerick outfit welcome Clontarf to Dooradoyle on Saturday.

Garryowen beat Buccaneers in the second round while Young Munster continue to struggle with back-to-back defeats to start.

They lost at Lansdowne last weekend and go to College Park for a meeting with Dublin University this time around.
