THE WEEKEND IN TWEETS

- BRIAN O’DRISCOLL (@BrianODriscoll)

Thought Rob Kearney was excellent today. For someone that had the pressure of Larmour on the bench his all round game was top class. Brutal luck on Robbie Henshaw too. He’s become a very important player in that team.

Another solid outing for Kearney at full-back.

PETER STRINGER (@stringer9) .@KEITHEARLS87 Simply outstanding yet again Everyone would echo those sentiments.

ROB HENDERSON (@robhendo13)

@henshawrob hope the injury is not too bad, you were having a fine game. Only positive is we get to see Jordan Larmour in a green jersey #coybig

From one powerful centre to another.

LUKE FITZGERALD (@lukefitz11)

Leinster getting decimated here!!

Good weekend for Saracens as Leinster count the cost.

REF LINK

“Jacob! Jacob! Come on.”

Stockdale gets the full treatment from Johnny Sexton for not being in position and alive to a possible quick penalty.

“Time off. Bad injury.”

Romain Poite is quick to spot that Robbie Henshaw has a serious problem and immediately calls for help.

“Great line, ref.”

One of the Ireland players, either Conor Murray or Dan Leavy, shares a light-hearted moment with Poite after he got in Ireland’s way as Rob Kearney was put through a hole for a well-worked power play. Schmidt may not have seen the funny side.

“Can we just take the lineout?”

“No, you have to kick.”

Rory Best plays dumb with regard to Sexton not having to kick the ball in touch for a penalty but Poite is having none of it.

“Pete is captain now.”

“Who?”

Poite is not quite on first-name terms with every Irish player.
