Barca draw blank as Real warm up for PSG

- Jamie Holland

BARCELONA failed to score for the first time in La Liga this season as Getafe picked up a hard-fought point at the Nou Camp.

The hosts remain unbeaten in the league and are seven points above Atletico Madrid.

Philippe Coutinho and Lionel Messi both forced saves from Getafe ’keeper Vicente Guaita.

Getafe, who move into the top half, almost scored a winner with the last kick as Vitorino Antunes’ 30-yard free-kick was tipped over the bar by Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

On Saturday, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick as Real Madrid thrashed Real Sociedad to warm up for Wednesday’s Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain, who beat Toulouse 1-0 thanks to Neymar’s second-half winner.

Ronaldo set up Lucas Vazquez to head a first-minute opener, then blasted home from Marcelo’s cross.

Toni Kroos added a third before Ronaldo headed in Luka Modric’s corner.

Jon Bautista pulled one back after the break, but Ronaldo scored his third from close range before Asier Illarramendi’s volleyed consolation.

In Italy, Inter Milan ended the 10-game winless run that has derailed their season as they beat Bologna in Serie A.

Eder gave them an early lead, but Rodrigo Palacio equalised against his old club.

Teenager Yann Karamoh scored Inter’s winner from 25 yards, before Bologna had Ibrahima Mbaye and Adam Masina sent off in separate incidents. Inter move up to third, but are 15 points behind leaders Napoli.

Former Italy striker Mario Balotelli was booked for complaining to the referee about alleged racist chants as his Nice side lost to Dijon.

The ex-Manchester City and Liverpool forward was unhappy with the reaction from the home fans when he missed a shot in the 72nd minute, gesturing to the Dijon supporters to be quiet. He spoke to referee Nicolas Rainville, who showed him a yellow card.

Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski equalled a scoring record set by his manager Jupp Heynckes by scoring in his 11th successive home game as Bayern Munich beat Schalke to go 18 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
